I agree, your 18-55 is not up to par for shooting weddings, but neither is your camera. You need multiple full frame cameras, a whole compliment of fast zoom lenses, and some good flash equipment. Figure around 25,000.00-30,000.00 in equipment to get a really good wedding setup.

For a good all around lens, look at the 18-105, 18-135 or 18-200, depending on your budget.
